Miami-Dade AHEC strives to create innovative and highly interactive community-based health education programs. We believe that by equipping our audiences with the health knowledge they need to make smart lifestyle decisions, we can help to reduce emergency room visits, hospitalizations, and simply create a healthier, more productive
community.
Our School Health and Adult Health programs are offered through our Health Self Collaboratory. We provide all of our services to schools, churches, community groups, and worksites.
Our Health Careers programs follow strict guidelines for health professionals training and is coordinated through our partner academic institutions.
